AGI is a premiere, privately owned and operated sales and marketing firm in Atlanta. We are currently seeking to fill entry level sales and marketing Account Representative positions with team-oriented professionals who have the ambition and self-motivation to grow within the area's leading direct marketing firm. Qualified candidates will be cross-trained in the areas of sales and marketing, as well as customer service, management and team development.
Account Representatives are assigned to a particular region of Atlanta, GA and are responsible for maintaining and creating new accounts for our clients and customers. Specific responsibilities include campaign and territory management, client relations activities, team development and customer communications. This position is entry level, so no experience is necessary.
As a team lead, candidates are required to have the experience and performance history to effectively train and the development new trainees to meet the standard field performance metrics. Specific responsibilities include the organization and management of all field activity required to successfully lead a team to meet the fixed performance targets. Tactics for such leadership include the Implementation of the Cycle of Development by acting as coach or mentor, including participating and instructing workshops and stations daily and weekly as well as providing support to all trainees under their assignment for the day. We are working on a Business to Consumer Program presently, with a hefty portfolio of leads from our Client. Team leads are developed with a particular focus on personal attention, feedback and encouragement through leading by example.
Advancement to the Assistant Management position will be given after a proven track record within a Team Lead position. Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) handling direct client interaction and regional campaign development as well as the overseeing of comprehensive advertising, public relations and finance coverage for each client. Assistant Managers will be responsible for the direct management of a team of 15-20 Account Managers. All Office Managers MUST start in Account Management and demonstrate a superior personal performance record prior to promotion.
Managing Partners are the primary contact between our firm and our clients, acting as the true face to our company and following a daily routine focused around creating a vision and setting expansion goals to further the growth of not only our organization, but our clients at large. Each Managing Partner is responsible for the training and development of 30-50 Account Managers as well as 7-9 Team Leaders. They ensure the team is fully briefed as to their targets prior to each activity and maintain contact as necessary to ensure instructions are being adhered to and advice and encouragement are appropriately offered. Fundamentally, their responsibility is to help develop and maintain a level of team unity and cohesiveness, while allowing people to express their individuality and passion for their positions and goals.
This is a full time position. The right candidate will be chosen only after several face to face one on one interviews with AGI. Candidates must possess a high level of integrity. If offered a position, we do provide extensive paid training.
